Developing innovative microfluidic Lab-on-Chip platforms for 3D cell culture using 3D-VAT printing technology and fluid flow modeling. The project involves the development of new biocompatible photoresins and photoinitiators that will enable precise, transparent and robust structures. It also aims to develop alternatives to animal testing by creating 3D culture models, which could find applications in biomedical research, diagnostics and therapeutics.
