Grantee of NAWA – National Foundation of Academic Exchange and a laureate of Young, Outstanding Researchers Award funded by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. I have worked within R&D of innovative microbial fuel cell technology and its application in generating electricity from urine within Bill & Melinda Gates funded research in Bristol Bioenergy Centre. Recently I was working on developing the evolutionary robotic platform and its use to investigate the interactions between artificial life and living systems, as well as development LIAR bio-brick, sustainable technology for water treatment, electricity generation and architecture in Centre for Integrative Biology, Trento. Currently I took a position in Wroclaw University of Science and Technology withing a grant funded by NAWA.
