🔥We would like to announce that our colleague from the Applied Photochemistry team, Weronika Wałczyk from the Ortyl Photo Lab at the Tadeusz Kościuszko Kraków University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, has been named a finalist in this year's edition of the ‘Gold Medal of Chemistry’ competition for the best engineering or bachelor's thesis, which is organised by the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS).
🔥 The title of her engineering thesis, written under the supervision of Professor Joanna Ortyl and Dr Monika Topa, is ‘Investigations of photochemical and cytotoxic properties of newly synthesised organic compounds with potential application as photosensitizers for photopolymerisation processes and 3D printing’.
🔥 We would just like to add that the results of Veronika's research work have been published in the scientific journal ‘Additive Manifacturing’ (IF=10) Elsevier Scopus Elsevier
