📢 New Project in #OrtylPhotoLab! 🚀 Ortyl Photo Lab from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Krakow.
We are very happy to inform you that our team, led by Filip, is starting a new innovative project! From the 1st of October, work on a project entitled:
🎉 ‘Innovative iodonium initiators for the curing of prepreg composite materials by photoinduced frontal polymerisation’ (project number FENG.02.07-IP.05-0074/23).
🎉 Lead contractor @Filip Petko
What's in store for us under the project? 🤔
✨️Projekt involves the development of a single-component photo-initiating system that will revolutionise cationic frontal polymerisation and enable energy-efficient and fast curing of fibre-reinforced composite materials.
✨️Będziemy optimise the photo-thermo initiating system and polymerisation conditions so that the process occurs efficiently throughout the material. Finally, we will transform our design into an epoxy composite ready for market implementation.
🎯Who will benefit? 🎯
🎯Our solutions will be relevant to companies in industries such as aerospace, automotive or space. They will prove particularly valuable to companies involved in pipeline rehabilitation (CIPP), which can benefit from a faster and more energy-efficient curing process.
