Professor Joanna Ortyl received an award in the "Leader of Innovation" competition (category: Woman Inventor) during the 14th International Trade Fair of Inventions and Innovations INTARG (15-16.06.2021), which took place on-line.
The winner in the spin-off category of the "Innovation Leader" competition was Photo4Chem Sp. z o.o., founded by prof. Joanna Ortyl. The award was granted for exemplary pro-market activity, based on cooperation with units of the field of science, especially with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology of the Cracow University of Technology, in order to commercialize construction projects in the field of chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, regarding technological solutions of new apparatus and devices dedicated to 3D printing.

Awarded for scientific and research activities that resulted in numerous publications, patents, utility models, invention projects and practical applications and industrial implementations, especially in the field of photochemistry – including photopolymerization processes in polymer systems and photochemical processes taking place in organic molecules. The award is a direct result of the TEAM TECH project co-financed by the Foundation for Polish Science.
