Filip Petko from the Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Kraków received a grant under the “LIDER” programme for a project entitled “New innovative composite structural-repair materials cured by highly energy-efficient photoinduced frontal polymerisation”. Funding of PLN 1,787,512.50 has been awarded for the research.
The project focuses on the development of modern composite materials that can be used in structures requiring fast and efficient curing. The innovative method of photoinduced frontal polymerisation allows significant energy savings compared to traditional curing methods.
