The research team consisting of Patryk Szymaszek, Małgorzata Kowalewska, Kamil Pulit and Joanna Ortyl has been awarded the Gold Medal by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The award was given for the invention ‘Development of Innovative Functional Composites for Photonic Applications: Integrated Non-Metallic Chiral Plasmonic Nanostructures Fabricated by Light’, which was presented at the Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition.
The award recognises an innovative approach to the design and application of functional photonic composites, which can find wide application in modern technologies. This award highlights the importance of research and its impact on the development of new technologies internationally.
In addition, Dr Monika Topa and her research team consisting of Jakub Pietraszewski, Małgorzata Noworyta, Magdalena Jankowska and Joanna Ortyl were awarded the silver medal; the researchers won recognition by developing resins dedicated to precision printing of dental materials.
Many congratulations to the entire team!
