From 30 May to 1 June, members of the OrtylPhotoLab research team from the Tadeusz Kościuszko University of Technology in Krakow, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, actively participated in the interdisciplinary scientific conference ‘Horizons of Science’, organised at the Jagiellonian University. The event brought together young scientists from all over Poland, offering a platform for presenting the latest research achievements and establishing inter-university cooperation.
The OrtylPhotoLab team presented a total of 12 scientific papers, including:
🔹6 oral presentations presenting research results in the field of photoinitiators, photopolymerisation of various types and the design of functional polymer composite materials
🔸6 poster presentations devoted to, among other things, modern photoinitiating systems, ionic liquids as functional components #perłynauki, and the applications of photochemistry in 3D printing.
Participation in the conference was an important element in popularising the research conducted by the OrtylPhotoLab team, as well as an opportunity for constructive scientific discussion, enabling further development of ongoing projects. The presented works met with great interest from the participants, which confirms the relevance and application potential of the research topics undertaken.
