🌟 Exciting News from the ICAN Exhibition! 🌟
We are thrilled to announce that our innovations have won prestigious awards at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (ICAN) held on August 24, 2024.
Under the exceptional leadership of Dr. Monika Topa-Skwarczyńska and Dr. Klaudia Trembecka-Wojciga from OrtylPhotoLab, our projects, funded by the National Centre for Research and Development through the Lider program, have achieved international recognition.
🥈 We received a Silver Medal for our Light-Cured Resin with Bimodal Zirconium Oxide Nanoparticles designed for high-resolution 3D printing of biologically inspired ceramic bone scaffolds.
🥇 Our innovative New Generation, Non-toxic, Antibacterial Resins, which are used for producing temporary crowns and bridges via photopolymerizable 3D printing for the dental industry, earned us a Gold Medal.
These achievements underscore the hard work and dedication of our team from Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology and highlight our leadership in 3D printing and innovative materials. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this success possible!

Awarded for scientific and research activities that resulted in numerous publications, patents, utility models, invention projects and practical applications and industrial implementations, especially in the field of photochemistry – including photopolymerization processes in polymer systems and photochemical processes taking place in organic molecules. The award is a direct result of the TEAM TECH project co-financed by the Foundation for Polish Science.
