🆕⚛In recent days, three of our students from OrtylPhotoLab from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Krakow University of Technology had the extraordinary opportunity to participate in the 6th Central European Biomedical Congress (CEBC), held July 22-24, 2025 in Krakow, Poland 😎
This year's event, under the theme “Integrating Neuropharmacology and Bioinformatics with AI,” brought together more than 400 participants and 50 distinguished speakers from around the world. The program included lectures, poster sessions, workshops and expert panels, focused on the latest developments in neuropharmacology, bioinformatics and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine.
The research presented by our team was funded by the National Agency for Innovation Development under project 2024/ABM/03/KPO (contract KPOD.07.07-IW.07-0125/24), headed by Professor Joanna Ortyl.
Project title: “”Luminescent theranostic compounds with anticancer effects, i.e., combining photodynamic therapy and imaging diagnostics in a single molecule, and developing 3D printed topical micro-needle systems for precise, individualized cancer therapy."🧪🔬
Krakow - a city of history and science - provided the perfect backdrop for this inspiring event 🔝
