🌟We would like to announce with great pleasure that SPRING 2024 for our Ortyl Photo Lab from the Tadeusz Kościuszko Kraków University of Technology's Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology is the time for PhD promotions🎉,
🚀 The last of the doctoral promotions took place on 10 May this year at 11.00 am in the Interdepartmental Education and Research Centre ‘Działownia’. The ceremony presided over by the Rector of the Krakow University of Technology, Prof. dr hab. inż. @Andrzej Szarat was attended by our freshly minted doctoral students 🩷💜🩵.
During this ceremony, members of our OrtylPhotoLab research group received their diplomas:
✨ **Dr Emilia Hola ** who defended her PhD thesis entitled. ‘Synthesis and study of new photoinitiating systems for photopolymerisation processes initiated in the visible light range’. The thesis was supervised by Prof. Joanna Ortyl, D.Sc.
✨ **Dr Eng. Wiktoria Tomal ** who defended her doctoral thesis entitled ‘Synthesis and studies of new photoinitiated systems in the visible light range’. ‘Synthesis and studies of new photoinitiators for biomedical applications’. The thesis was supervised by Joanna Ortyl, D.Sc., Prof. PK and Stanisław Kuciel, D.Sc., Prof. PK.
✨ **Monica Topa -Skwarczyńska, Ph.D., who defended her doctoral thesis entitled ‘Synthesis and studies of new high-performance photothermal initiators for biomedical applications’. ‘Synthesis and testing of new high-performance photoinitiating systems dedicated to dental photo-curable polymeric materials’. The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Joanna Ortyl, Prof. PK.
✨ **Dr Maciej Pilch ** who defended his thesis entitled. ‘Innovative luminescent sensing systems for mapping the distribution of thermodynamic state parameters on the surfaces of real objects’. The supervisors were Prof. Roman Popielarz and Prof. Andrzej Flaga.
