As part of the program "Student Societies Create Innovations", the Scientific Society of Applied Photochemistry led by Prof. Joanna Ortyl (active in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology at the Cracow University of Technology) received funding for "Creation of a prototype 3D-Vis bioprinter for fluorescence monitoring of obtained printouts". 🔥🔥
The aim of the project is to develop a conceptual design and build a prototype printer with one or two extruders for photo-curable biodeprinting of hydrogel inks with biological material. For the implementation of the project, the Minister of Education and Science has granted funding in the amount of 26 750 zł. It is worth noting that this is the second 2️⃣ edition of the competition, in which our circle has received funding.
