Representatives of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Cracow University of Technology are in Warsaw today to take part in this important event.

On 29 April 2026, at the Akces NCBR headquarters in Varso Tower, Warsaw, the initiative supporting the development of innovative technologies for the security and defence sector officially begins. The programme is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of National Defence.

The event brings together representatives of academia, public administration and the defence sector, including:

🔹 Prof. Marek Gzik – Minister of Science and Higher Education
🔹 Cezary Tomczyk – Minister of National Defence
🔹 Prof. Jerzy Małachowski – Director of NCBR
🔹 Brig. Gen. Marcin Górka – Director of the Innovation Department at the Ministry of National Defence

both involved in a new project selected for the MilTech Akces NCBR programme.

Each of the 12 selected projects will receive PLN 300,000 in non-repayable funding as well as PLN 100,000 worth of mentoring and expert support.

This is an important step towards developing innovative, advanced solutions for national security and defence. 🇵🇱
