๐ We are very pleased to announce that our latest article has been awarded and is featured on the August cover of the journal *#PolymerChemistry* published by the Royal Society of Chemistry ๐
๐ฌ In our work, we have investigated the use of novel azulene derivatives as effective panchromatic photosensitizers in the initiation of cationic and free radical polymerisation processes using visible light. The derivatives we have developed show a high photoredox potential which enables their use in binary and ternary photoinitiating systems. Furthermore, for the first time in the literature, we have confirmed the effectiveness of these systems in 3D printing, which opens up new perspectives in obtaining three-dimensional polymer structures. ๐๐ Research funded by the National Science Centre within the #OPUS project
