🍪Good morning on Thursday!👋
⚠️Dzisiaj we brag about the new FutureLab 2023 project of our M.Sc. Maciek Pilch 👨‍🔬i his team 🦸‍♀️🦸🏻‍♂️.
Appreciated by the FutureLab PK Scientific Council, the project entitled: ‘Budget 3D printer for the production of baked goods from edible masses marked with food colours’ will be implemented at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology of the Krakow University of Technology
Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology
ℹ️Celem project is to develop a budget 3D printer to produce three-dimensional baked goods from edible masses labelled with food dyes. In the first stage, the printer will be equipped with an extrusion system, a dye dispensing system and a heated table and workspace to allow the prints to be baked. Next, UV lighting will be installed to disinfect the workspace and observe the change in emission characteristics of the dyes. Initial tests will be carried out using UV resins. Once the device has been calibrated, the components in contact with the resin will be replaced and further tests will be carried out using food masses. The main outcome and innovation will be the development of a 3D food printer, equipped with a dye dispensing system and a UV disinfection and visualisation system. This printer can be used in the food and bakery industry to produce effective-looking special occasion baked goods🍰🥧🍪🍩🍫
